INVITATION FOR BIDS Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for: MIDRISE BUILDINGS EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM UPGRADE The Scope of work includes all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide upgrades to the Emergency Call System in 5 NRHA Elderly Midrises that will include but not be limited to the following: In 2 midrises provide and install wireless emergency call system; In 3 midrises provide visual duty station for existing Jeron Electronic System and other miscellaneous improvements. All work shall be accomplished as specified and indicated on drawings. A pre-bid meeting will include a tour of all 5 midrises beginning at Sykes Midrise, 555 East Liberty Street, Norfolk, VA on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 9:00 AM. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Bids will be received until 3:30 PM local prevailing time on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the office of the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 910 Ballentine Boulevard, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents will be available for review at the NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, Grandy Village Learning Center, 2971 Kimball Loop, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and on the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). A CD will be available from NRHA, 910 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of twelve dollars (Company Check Only).
